The Story Behind the Name
About eighteen years ago, I met a girl. It wasn't planned. There was no grand strategy, no algorithm that brought us together. It was an accident — a very happy one.
I fell in love with her by accident. We started our relationship by accident. Somehow we moved in together, built a life together, and then — one by one — three beautiful children came into our world. Each one a surprise. Each one unplanned. Each one the happiest thing that ever happened to me.
That's the thing about the best parts of life. They don't come from spreadsheets or five-year plans. They come from the moments in between — the accidents you never saw coming that end up meaning everything.
Life got busy. Three kids, a career, a house, a thousand obligations pulling in every direction. And somewhere in that noise, I started asking myself: what's more important than actually enjoying this precious, unrepeatable life?
The answer was nothing. Nothing is more important.
So I started working on it. Not with spreadsheets or formulas — but with intention. How do I hold these moments tighter? How do I make more room for the things that matter most? How do I protect this feeling — this fullness — and never let it slip away in the noise?
And then a second thought: what if I could share it? What if other people could stumble into their own version of happiness — the same way I did — by accident, but with a little help finding it?
VHA Research is that idea made real. Every service we build is about one thing: helping people find their happiest moments, hold them closer, and make more of them possible.
This project is a love letter to my wife and my children. They are the proof that the best life is built from happy accidents — and the courage to protect them once you find them.
